You can switch between MyKi Spot operational modes via the MyKi Spot application. Find the settings menu at the bottom right of the Home screen, then choose the "Tracker settings" submenu and select "Device mode". Use the radio button to select the desired operational mode and confirm your choice with the OK button. When you go back to the Home screen of the application, you will see that the Quick settings bar contains different functionalities due to the mode you have picked up.
On the Home screen of MyKi Spot application, you can find general information about the device and its location. The pin shows you the time and date of the last reported location of the device on the map. If the Tracker is off, you will see a red label OFFLINE. At the map-section is located informational bar to show the battery state, the localization method, ringing mode, etc. At the top right of the map section, you can find the Real-time tracking button.
At the top right of the map section, you can find the Real-time tracking button. When activated, the device will start sending information about its location at short time intervals for 10 minutes. After the tracking period passes, you can activate the Real-time tracking button again. There is no limitation on how many times you can use this functionality, but it may affect the battery consummation of the device.
The Quick settings bar contains often used settings for easy managing of the MyKi Spot device such as the sound settings, the Calling function, the Safe zones etc. It is located, at the bottom of the Home screen. To see all the functionalities available, you must touch the bar and slide up. The functionalities shown will be different for each Device mode that you have chosen. More settings you can find in the Settings menu.
Use the map section to adjust the location and slight trough the length bar below to manage the radius. Write the name of the Safe zone at the field below and pick up one of the colors from the color palette at right, then choose the sound mode of the device suitable for the Safe zone. You can set up to two safe zones, find the second one above the map. Remember to save your changes before exiting the menu.
To turn on the Safe zone notifications, use the activation switch. Then save all the settings with the Save button.
If activated, you can receive notification about the following activities of your MyKi Spot device:
You can set up to 3 SOS numbers for your MyKi Spot device. They can be managed from the Settings menu, Tracker settings section, SOS and White list
The phone numbers added in the White list section can make a phone call to the device. If a number, out of this list try to make a call, the device could not receive it.
When the SOS button is pressed and held for more than 6 seconds, the device starts dealing calls in a row to all of the SOS numbers in the SOS list.
